A systematic evaluation of the BEE elements is undertaken to determine the level of compliance to the relevant BEE codes. Customised software programmes are used to expedite the on-site verification. Upon completion of the evaluation, an independent BEE Manager who was not party to the verification process quality assures the work done by the verification staff and approves the BEE verification certificate.
